Man Eating Tiger offers non-processed ceremonial grade matcha sourced from a small Japanese family farm.

After looking for the best tasting matcha, I approached the Zhu family who happened to be going on a trip to Japan the following week. They brought back dozens of samples. After a year of blind taste test and comparisons, it was clear to us that there was one matcha that was particularly better than all the rest. It came from one of the oldest small matcha farms in Japan.

All our matcha is handpicked and hand-ground using the top leaves of the matcha plant. We do not mix generic green tea or artificial additives into our matcha as our competitors do.
